My Type of Party - Dom Kennedy
I’ve been about Dom for awhile now. The dudes flow just feels good to me. He reps west coast rap well and his sound is definitely unique. This is his new jam, a trippy song that sounds best turned way up. Enjoy it.
Only One - Sammy Adams
This song has an undeniable hook. If you’ve been trying your best to avoid this guy from Boston, your attempts may be futile. With songs like this, he’s bound to break through to the mainstream sooner rather then later. Check it out.
Rihanna’s Gun - Cris Cab featuring Mavado & Wyclef
This won’t be my last Cris Cab post. This kind is associated with Billionaire Boys Club and Pharrell, makes music that can be played on the beach or in the club. This is more of the club jam, but he delivers his unique voice that’s got me hooked. Hope you enjoy, and grab his EPs Echo Boom & Forward ASAP.
Back In Time - Pitbull
Pitbull has a knack for making summer smashes without considerable rapping abilities. His songs seem to demand air time. This song incorporates a brilliant sample from the Mickey & Sylvia song “Love is Strange”. The bridge features a little dubstep break that really rides the wave of popularity that genre is enjoying. I’d also like the mention the movie this song is the theme for is a must see summer blockbuster, if for no other reason then Will Smith is great in it. Familiarize yourself.
